"Oh, the Places You'll Go..."
-Dr. Seuss
(Note: Anyone who hasn't read the works of Theodore Geisel in the past 15 years should get out there, find a nice Truffula tree to sit under, and curl up with "Green Eggs and Ham".
Get the nice, big hardcover version, not the smaller one that the Grolier Book Company
suckers its customers with.  I find that reading "
Fox in Socks" out loud is a great way
to clear your mind, and give your tongue a workout as well.)

For about five years, I did quite a bit of modeling and photo shoots....in the past I've done promotional and spokesmodeling for liquor brands and Sony's Memory Stick, among others, and I was an Angel for a while as well... long story.   I live in Southern Arizona, so most of my photo work has been in Tucson and Phoenix.  I'm getting kinda old, but I am considering a single photo shoot in Glendale AZ this Spring.  I'd prefer to try to keep the night clubs carding me for as long as possible.  The photo gallery is a collection of shots by several photographers and agencies, and a bunch of regular photos taken at home, at work and on the road.  That's me and my mom, by the way :).

K30Y.jpg (15360 bytes) kandmom.jpg (49863 bytes) Who Does This Girl Think She Is, Anyway?
I lead a busy life!  On a good day I'll get about 6 hours sleep... There's a bunch of stuff about my life, background and some of my eccentricities here, as well as some interesting tales.

updated frequently...see what's on my mind... everything from family to war to McDonalds Happy Meals....

falls_small.gif (8395 bytes) My Travels...Seeing America
My travels in the past few years have taken me to Las Vegas, Alaska, Portland, Seattle, Baltimore, Houston, St. Louis, Washington DC, New England, Chicago and Milwaukee, among other places.  I took my son to 3 games of the 2001 World Series...  Brushes with the stars... I met Penn & Teller, who threw knives at me in front of 800 people at the MGM Grand in Vegas, and in the Rock & Roll world, I met 'Eye of the Tiger' singer Jimi Jamison and hard rock legends The Scorpions (a bunch of sweet guys!), and gave a rose to Huey Lewis as well.  Recently met Ed 'Too Tall' Jones of Dallas Cowboys fame.  And he is colossal... but a really nice guy in person.

Tucson, Arizona - Home sweet Desert :)
Read a little I dug up about the city I've been calling home since 1986, and the places where you might find me hanging out.

anmlpt3.jpg (6564 bytes) Karen's Yard Sale!
I have way too much stuff!   On this page I have posted items that I'd like to sell - CLOTHES, collectibles, baseball memorabilia, Ty Beanies, Barbies, Disney stuff...make me an offer!

This is Sigmund.
If you know who Sigmund is, you'll enjoy my Krofft TV page. Sid & Marty Krofft created some of the strangest shows Saturday Morning Television has ever seen!  Ever heard of Witchiepoo, Cling & Clang, Sleestak, Pakuni, Dynagirl, the Dorse and Honk?   I've thrown in some trivia, facts about the shows, and more of my witty comments (my ex-roommate once said that I'm 'one of those people that thinks they're really funny...but isn't...')

nikki3.jpg (6779 bytes) Meet my Puppy Dog...
also my ex-cats, ex-kitties and maybe even a dead turtle...  I had 30 javelinas in my front   yard a few weeks ago - read my Journal for the whole story...  These days I own a red-eared slider (water turtle) and a black and orange guinea pig!

starwarz.jpg (13243 bytes)  maw16.jpg (63036 bytes) My Star Wars Page
Suddenly I have connections in the Empire!   My friend Scott runs the local chapter of Darth Vader's Imperial Navy... they visit kids in hospitals and do non-profit appearances at events.  I've recruited them to visit with some of my Wish kids and their siblings, making the wishes even more memorable and special...

beauty.jpg (6057 bytes) My Disney Page!
I'm a bit of a Disney nut, I'll admit it...This page includes my Disney Poster Collection, Disneyland Souvenir Squished Penny List, Information on all full-length animated Disney features, a bunch of Beauty and the Beast stuff, and plenty of other Disney talk!  Or, take the Direct Link to my Disney Movie Poster Collection.   Really, they're mine!  But where am I going to hang them all??  I once decorated a little-used dress with over 150 Disney buttons...do I have the courage to wear it at Disneyland though?

dbacks.gif (2298 bytes) Arizona Diamondbacks, 2001 World Series Champions
How am I ever going to deal with watching my favorite player, Randy Johnson, pitching for the (ack!!!) Yankees??? Here's my page for the Arizona Diamondbacks baseball club, at the end of the 2004 season, and a link to the story of the blast my son and I had at the 2001 World Series!

anim-inch.gif (5186 bytes) Beanie Babies
Anyone want a big pile of PVC Pellet-filled stuffed animals? :P  So what happened to the Beanie empire??  I'll tell you...marketing!  As soon as the Ty Corporation decided to market more to dealers and collectors out to make a buck, and less to the kids and devout fans who built these toys into America's biggest hobby in 1998, Beanie Babies were doomed...  Never hire yuppies to do marketing... that's free advice from a Brat-Packin' Generation X'er :).

??? Visit my TRIVIA page!
I used to host trivia games online at god-awful times on AOL...when my life afforded time for it... Disney trivia, music trivia, 80's trivia, general knowledge, sports, you name it, I hosted it.  Visit
Egghead Trivia on AOL if you get a chance.

Official site of Mt Lemmon, AZ - one of my favorite getaway spots, only 35 minutes and 35 degrees F from Tucson. Please consider donating to the Aspen Fire Relief Fund; donations will go toward restoration of the Coronado National Forest and the rebuilding of over 300 homes and businesses that were destroyed in this past summer's 100,000+ acre blaze.

This is a GREAT site if you're interested in learning more about Antarctica, the McMurdo Station base there, or interested in job opportunities at the bottom of the world!  They even include the monthly Antarctic newsletter online here.

Remember your childhood?  If you grew up around 1982-84, ColecoVision was the Video Game system everyone wanted.  I must have had blisters on my blisters from playing Venture until smoke started coming out of the machine :).

Newport News has some GREAT clothes at good prices.  They have a cool catalog as well.  Many of my outfits found their way to me from these folks throughout the years.

Visit the website for the restaurant that makes my favorite PIZZA!!
Too bad the closest one is 3000 miles away from me in New England!  Recently my friend Bruce actually sent me a Papa Gino's pizza by overnight UPS!  Thanks Bru! The pizza was less than 16 hours old when I ate it!  Great stuff!!  Of course those of you who are in New England are probably sick of it, but trust me, you can't get anything like it in Tucson :).

Are you an REO Speedwagon fan?

I'm a Wagonhead!  Seen REO in concert 6 times, and they still tour their way into Tucson and Phoenix almost every year... free Geritol with admission!  :)

A page for Ann and Nancy Wilson of HEART

Ann and Nancy Wilson are still very active in the music scene; Heart will be releasing a new album around Christmas/January 2004.  Saw them from the front row in Tucson a few months back, still a GREAT show.  Ann Wilson's voice is just beyond belief.

The official CRAYOLA website!

I swear I saw an Indian Red crayon in IHOP one night.  I thought they changed its name!!
