For 26 years, the Gaslight Theatre has offered a hilarious dinner theatre experience.  The theatre itself is set up to appear just like a 19th century theatre/showplace, and it seats 250 comfortably.  Tickets are very reasonable...$14 for adults, $11 discounted admission (NESRA, Military, Students, Seniors, etc.), and $8 for children.  Little Anthony's Diner, a 50's style restaurant, sits next door to the Gaslight, and during the shows, you can order from a special Little Anthony's menu.  Guests can enjoy pizza and beer, or buffalo wings and salad, while watching some great entertainment!

The shows work this way:
First, the feature presentation.  Usually 8-9 actors, including the incomparable Joe Cooper, who has been with the theatre since 1983.  Some of the musicals I've seen at the Gaslight over the years include:

Harley's Angels
Sgt. Preston of the Royal Canadian Mounties (Or "Yukon Count on Me")
Girl of the Golden West
Zerro Rides Again!
Frankenstein Lives! (or "The Jolt's On You")
A Small Town Christmas
The Phantom of the Opera
Nick Bracy - 'G Man!'
Buccaneers of the Caribbean (or "Buy Corn for a Bucc an ear")
The Three Musketeers
The Adventures of Lady Liberty
The Curse of the Mummy (or "All's Pharoah in Love and War!")
Buzz Corey and the Red Planet of Doom
Gnatman!
On The Road to the North Pole
Space Trek - the New Millennium!
The Cisco Kid
Miss Small-Town Rock 'n Roll
Gunsmokin'

Musicals are about 70 minutes long, with a short intermission.   A small band plays throughout the show, led by Lisa Otey and Linda Ackerman on piano.  The shows make wacky use of low-budget special effects and songs that parody hits of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and today.  Everything from "Hound Dog" to "Who Let the Dogs Out"...

After the shows, birthdays and anniversaries are announced, there's more singing, and then the actors put on a 20-30 minute musical olio.  I've never walked away disappointed.  Even if you're not a fan of the theatre, I guarantee you you'll have a great time and laugh your butt off at the Gaslight Theatre.  If not, there's always the pizza and beer :).
